Upcoming concert at Skydome from August to November

For those who were unable to catch the delightful Korean actress, Lee Sung Kyung, at a recent event at the Skydome, there’s no reason to sulk. The upcoming months from August to November are chock-full of thrilling events as renowned artists ignite the local concert domain.

Renowned hard rock collective, Mr. Big, is preparing to bid an emotionally-charged farewell to their ardent Filipino admirers on August 9. Having sold upwards of 4 million albums across the globe, the band has charmed listeners with a myriad of adored pop and rock songs, including the chart-dominating hits, ‘To Be With You’ and ‘Just Take My Heart.’

On August 13, the Skydome will be graced by one of Thailand’s most coveted stars, Tor Thanapob Leeratanakachron, known simply as Tor Thanapob. Popular amongst Filipinos for roles such as Gabriel in The Last Promise, Roy/Mico in Man of Vengeance, and Anton in Switch, this will be his first fan meeting in Manila.

Making their first appearance for Filipino fans on September 9 is Thailand’s chart-topping band, Tilly Birds. The indie rock trio, consisting of vocalist Anuroth Ketlekha (Third), guitarist Nutdanai Chuchat (Billy), and drummer Thuwanon Tantiwattanaworakul (Milo), will be performing hit tracks like ‘Same Page,’ ‘Just Being Friendly,’ and ‘Until Then.’

On September 21, expect the Skydome to resonate with powerful concert event from the 1980s iconic Bay Area thrash metal bands Testament, Exodus, and Death Angel. They are reuniting for the Bay Strikes Back Tour in Manila.

On October 8, Against the Current’s fans will have a reason to celebrate. The American pop-rock band is bringing the Nightmares & Daydream 2023 world tour concert event to the Philippines. Be prepared to sing along to their popular tracks such as ‘blindfold,’ ‘Teenagers,’ and ‘Wildfire.’

Get ready to rock your Halloween on October 31 with Canadian band Silverstein’s return to the Philippines. The group, comprised of singer Shane Told, guitarists Josh Bradford and Paul Marc Pousseau, bassist Billy Hamilton, and drummer Paul Koehler, will perform their notable songs like ‘Discovering The Waterfront,’ ‘Hear Me Out,’ ‘My Heroine,’ and the renowned ‘Smile In Your Sleep.’

On November 3 and 4, emo and post-hardcore rock enthusiasts will take a nostalgic journey as American rock band Saosin brings their tour to Manila. Featuring members Anthony Green, Beau Burchell, Chris Sorenson, and Alex Rodriguez, fans can look forward to a comprehensive two-night performance of all their albums and notable hits.
