Davao bombing kills one, injures three at a restobar

In a shocking incident in the Davao City district of Barangay Calinan Poblacion, a bomb explosion in a resto bar claimed one life and injured three others. The tragic Davao bombing took place at around 10.50pm yesterday. Local authorities from the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) confirmed the incident and provided details on the victims and the current state of the investigation.

The life claimed by the unfortunate Davao bombing was identified as Romnick Creer Nortarte, aged 31. His residence was listed as Sitio Acacia, located in Barangay Tamugan, Marilog District, part of Davao City itself. Nortarte was reportedly declared dead on arrival by Dr. Abraham Magbanua, of the Southern Philippines Medical Clinic.

The other victims, touched by the tragedy, were identified as Emilita Alegarme, aged 48, Loribeth Nocyeo, 50 years old, and Rey Agliones, aged 32. They were rushed immediately to the hospital following the incident.

Based on police investigations, it was revealed that the victims had dined at the Emragila Restobar and were preparing to depart. Alegarme, one of the injured, noticed a whitish plastic bag resting on the window of the resto bar. The bag, as she observed, had something ignited inside. An unexpected explosion followed immediately after the bag was inspected.

The investigation into the shocking Davao bombing is far from over. The DCPO spokesman, Hazel Tuazon, confirmed that efforts are being made to identify the individuals responsible for planting the bomb, as well as deciphering the motives behind such a horrifying act. Tuazon did hint towards a personal grudge being a potential factor fuelling the terrifying blast reported Manila Times.
